Default How Strong is your Stomach???

This car is currently for sale on Pelican. If the owner is a member here, I apologize...no offense intended. The ad states it was originally owned by a Porsche Executive. I realize that taste is subjective...but seriously, what were they thinking???

It's not the worst I've seen. When I was in the market, there was a turbo for sale with the same interior, and the same color exterior. It was way, way overkill on the green...

At least that one wouldn't catch you by surprise. Imagine if your wife bought you this car for your birthday. How could you possibly hide your shock when you opened the door? Maybe this is how Porsche punishes executives who misbehave.

WOW, a tiptronic, what were they thinking...I'd have to agree, having a tip Pcar is pretty embarrassing.

i've seen late 1950's 356's silver exterior with the green interior and it looks great.

grey w/green is ugly. who in their right mind would order that combo?

the 1950's green was more seafoamish and the 50's red interior was a darker color...the newer green and red interiors are just pain ugly.

Actually, Porsche test drivers got better lap times with tiptronic in the more powerful turbo once the 996 turbo came along. Much like the 928, many enthusiast writers agreed that the automatic was more suited to the car.

I won't ever own a tiptronic Porsche - I like the full driving experience. But the days of dismissing tiptronic (or now PDK) as somehow less performance-oriented are over. PDK is faster. Period. Porsche may not even offer a manual option in the 991-based GT3.

Er, my comments were a feeble attempt at a joke, they were not meant to be taken literally.

Also, I could be wrong but I do not think the 911 TT tip cars outperformed their 6 speed counterparts until the 997 TTs were introduced.

There's just no fixing that mess. Nephrite Green.... must have been somewhat desireable in some country.....maybe.....or not.

I remember seeing a 996 NA with a cinnamon interior. That was just as bad. It looked like you were sitting in a car colored like a redhot. Yeeeccccch.

The black rims go with the black interior accents?
