Default My New Bride...

...is really an excellent driver. Seriously. She is competent, confident and attentive. She also knows how funny I am about my cars, so she's very careful about where she goes, where she parks, even how she gets in and out of the car.

She's driven the 996 twice. The first time she curbed one of my Sport Classic IIs. Today she crushed the front bumper on a parking block. What the friggin' hell???

That's why you don't let the wife drive the man toy... Lesson learned.

She's a great passenger!

My wife refuses to drive my cars.
She tells people that if something happened to them, she would have to kill herself.

My wife has driven the Porsche twice and rode in it three other times. She rarely drives my vehicles in the six years I had my f150 Harley she droves it about 20 times. Those drives resulted in a bent nerf pipe, she dropped in on a curb. Hit a curb with the lower front bumper(also broke the fog light). None of that really bothered me, it just a vehicle. But then right before it sold it I had the front bumper respayed to fix where she hit the curb and general chips over the years. I wanted to make it look nice to sell. Well one evening, about a week after the paint, she took the truck to run our daughters friend home Late in the evening. The next day I'm walking past the truck and I'm like what the hell, the corner of the bumper is all scuffed. Sure enough she drove into their drive too fast hitting the dip coming off the road.
So giving her past record I give it about a 15% chance that if she takes the keys it will cost money. I still love her and all in all I wish she would take Porsche for a errand every now and then, but I doubt she would.
