Default Decision time - Aerokit or MO30

I suspect that I know where this will end up, but my wife has expressed a desire to spruce up the 996 for Christmas and has enlisted the rest of the family.... It is Aerokit vs. suspension

I have the Mk1 Aerokit side skirts in the basement courtesy of FLY996, but will need to get a front bumper or lip.

or

I can go with the M030 RoW.

I can't decide, so I figured I would poll the collective

Suspension will have more of an impact on a performance basis. The Aero kit is primarily visual.

I live in Canada... I am not sure I can handle such a stiff suspension on our poor roads.

I doubt its THAT still, again ask Pete he went thru this not long ago

ROW just would not be enough for the money spent IMO

Ring a ding ding! I could not be happier with the X74. It is not that harsh. If I lived closer I would take you for a ride......oh wait my car is in the shop getting repaired from a little parking lot incident. Hey I will have a slightly used Aero rear decklid for cheap if your interested. New they are 6K..... used ???

Well, you really have to get both. You know that.

For now, I'd go with Aero kit!

My vote - TechArt Coilovers and get the car out of the Clouds. Lowers 35 mm - just cause it's a C4 doesn't mean it should look like a 4 X 4. ... but then that is somewhat biased just IMHO. Better looking and better handling!

X73 or x74. It improves both looks and handling.

What is the X73 or x74 and how does it compare to the M030?

About $800 more plus a smile you can't let go. Lowers the car 40mm from stock height with new stiffer struts and sways. I felt like I had just got my drivers license when I got!

If you get either suspension you'll be hating the aero front bumper (especially if you put the splitter on it).....it will scrape on everything with stock suspension so with it 20-40mm lower I'm sure it would become a snow plow.

For reference my car is areo already and I'd take either suspension kit X74 or ROW M030 so that's no help at all.

Suspension over aero kit. Unless it makes it go faster or handle better, put it at the bottom of the list!

From one Canadian to another, go for the X-74.... Its the best enhancement i've made to my car., after looking and researching all over the web, and the great assistance from sneaky Pete... I installed it last year..
I would also like to get a new aero front bumper, especially after some chick with a trailer hitch backed into me and cut my bumper last summer...

enjoy
