All - in the market for a 40th AE with low number of owners (mileage agnostic) with excellent maintenance history (presumably IMS addressed). I'm based in Idaho but willing to travel near and far for the right car. Please help me out here if you're considering selling or know of a good car. Otherwise I'll be forced to go and buy a c4s instead.

You can always find the listing of 40ths for sale on the 911 40th Registry website. Here's the link: https://www.40jahre911.com/40-jahre-911-listed-for-sale

There are a few on that list in the USA that might fit your criteria, although I must say that there are fewer 40ths for sale in the USA right now that normal. If you have any questions about any particular car let me know and I'll see what we have in the Registry records that I can send you. Best of luck with the hunt.

Thanks for this - didn't realize there was a standalone for sale page with links.

Selling my car on eBay if anyone’s interested.

11,000 mile 3 owner car with the “solution” IMS, and brand new M030 suspension, tires, clear bra and detail. Needs nothing, near flawless. $62,500

Nr. 0169 - a true museum piece. Amazing condition. Probably still has that new car smell. Best of luck with the sale. I've got your link on the Registry "for sale" page on the website.

The tech who does our Porsche cars said exactly that. Smells like 2004 and boy do the new ones smell different.

Price modified to $59,500

Beautiful 40th! You will certainly have to be patient and wait for the right buyer. Have you consider PCar Market or BAT?

No but I would do PCar before BAT.

In no rush really just wanted to adjust my price as I looked a little harder at what’s traded recently.

It’s a perfect car so it’s available to anyone looking for the best.

Great looking car. Can you tell us a little more about the Solution -

When installed?
Mileage when installed?
Shop that did the work?
Anything else done when Solution installed - clutch, AOS, etc.?

Thanks

Sure. It was all done by my CGT tech Jimmy at Porsche Fairfield in CT. I shipped it to them when I purchased it in May of 19 and it had a full service, new tires, AOS, RMS, the solution the works done to the tune of $10k. The car had a little over 10k miles at that time. Someone’s gettin a perfect car....

All - wanted to first thank several of those who reached out. I've been in the middle of a home renovation and new business venture thus buying a car was probably too ambitious. To that end wanted to apologize to those I didn't promptly respond to and/or follow up with. I realize that wasn't the best start.

Mea culpas aside - I dove in head first and flew up to Seattle Monday and purchased my new to me 40th Jahre (#0482) from Audi Seattle. The car is on the higher mileage side (70k) but looked to have several good stewards and recent service history including AOS, Flywheel, Clutch, and IMS Solution (!). Sadly no luggage or hardback seats. It was a long day but I made the 500+ mile drive in just over 7 hours including a scenic drive through the Snoqualmie Pass.

Very happy to join the club and really actually surprised by this car. I generally despise dark gray/black interiors but it works on the 996. Similarly, never thought I'd like shiny wheels but here we are.

A few questions:
1) I seem to have some excess road noise especially from the rear - the car has newer Michelin's so thinking its not tire related but open to ideas? Is it just a product of the more sport oriented suspension?
2) I know the PSE wasn't a factory option - any way to confirm whether its on the car? Mine seems a bit rowdy for a stock setup.
3) While I favor stock look - is there a good alternative for the single DIN stereo - would like to have bluetooth streaming for podcasts/music. Open to adaptors that work with the CDR23. No PCM thankfully on this one.
