I'd go with Porsche OE parts from either Pelican or Suncoast, whoever has teh best deal at the time. I think I got discs and pads from Suncoast last winter, Im sure they were alot cheaper than the dealers price

SCA40Jahre - I was doing some updating of the Registry list of 40ths and I'm missing some info about your car and a pic. I can't PM or email you because that functionality isn't available on your profile. Since your only post was on this thread I thought I'd try this. Please PM or email me at 40jahre911@gmail.com. Thanks.

Have any of you installed a high flow cat (fabspeed xpipe or similar) system? I might have a bad cat and want to consider all options.
Thank you.

I thought I had a bad cat several (5) times because the check engine came on "scarey". It came off after x amounts of starts and stops, sensors were the problem. I ran some non oxy gas and it cleared up.

So sorry I didn't contact You as I traveled thru MO. Didn't have Your # or address. Always in a hurry anyway. One of these days I'll swing thru.

My cat rattles when you tap it; so I'm pretty sure it's done. Just curious what others have done when this opportunity presents itself. Obviously I can just put in a new cat, but the weld in high flow cats or a system like fabspeed are worth a look. If any of our 40th group has been here, please share your experiences.
Thank you,

Any 40AE going?

I booked Grand Prix Campground spot and bought tickets.

I will drive the AE if a group shows. If not I plan to drive my 1976 911S. Its a better camper!

Had 216 since November, and finally took a pic worth posting.
