Just replaced the factory stereo in my '99 C2 with:

Alpine Head Unit
Focal 6-1/2" 3 Way rear
Focal 4" 2 Way front
JL Amp 2X100W
JL Amp 1X300W
JL SUB 8'
Stinger amp power kit and interconnect

Sounds really good, exploring doing a door speaker install next.

I would be interested in pictures adding bass but not losing the back seat. Anybody?

My back seats are still there, I just folded them down for the pic.

I built custom sub box. Fits behind rear seats on parcel shelf. Two 8" Kickers.

I went into Car Audio Innovations today. I have lived in Roseville for 10 years and was my first time going in. VERY impressive. I spoke to Carl, the store manager, and he was extremely knowledgeable. WOW! I encourage anybody in Nor Cal, doing major stereo upgrades to their Porsche, to check that place out.
