Don't be a stranger, Tim! If you ever need anything, you know where to find us.

Again, thanks for the pedals...they're much appreciated and your generosity did not go unnoticed here.

Very sorry about Damien--he and the rest of your family will be in my thoughts.

Take care.

Will miss you Tim. Your humor was always top notch, and your Porsche knowledge and ability to share info and diagrams was instantaneous on this forum. Your family story is heartwrenching and certainly hits home to any of us with children. You always seem positive and happy and I only hope a business opportunity will turn 'your' way soon.Come back whenever you can. Good luck to you and your family.

Yup, I'm sad to see my buddies moving on. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I know that kids have sapped away a lot of my time, so I don't get to spend as much time here as I'd like, but I still plan on hanging out.

Yeah... kids and work stress. I still stop in to see what's going on, but I don't have the time or energy to post as much right now. It's sad, I've not even had time to check out all the newbie cars that have been posted recently.

Tim,

Geez, I just got here from the Cayenne and OT forums, and now you're leaving??

From my limited exposure to your comments and advice, I can tell that you'll be missed in a big way.

I have not heard the story about your son until today - and I can tell you that my prayers are with you and your family. I can't imagine what you have been through.

I think that you should stay... but that's your decision to make.

I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah, well, we have monitored internet access, so I don't do personal surfing at work... much as I'd like to check in occasionally. I only get to login here once the kid stuff is done for the evening.

As for work - my company changed ownership today. That will make for lots of fun over the coming months.

Agree completely. No question that the RL board is a great escape and wonderful stress reliever. Many of us have been posting less often - demands of work, family, etc. I'm just so sad to see Tim move on. One of the truly terrific guys. Bright, knowlegable, and funny as hell. He'll be very much missed.

Hope all works out well with the new folks coming in. Hope the culture at R&H doesn't change dramatically, along with your work situation. Best of luck.

TIM! Say it ain't so!

You're the one who made me feel so welcome when I joined this forum, the guy who always came through whether I needed an exploded view diagram of the cooling system or a picture of a hot woman climbing a stepladder. You made it worthwhile being a member here on this forum, beyond the witty banter you always knew where to look and what to say, no matter how dumb the question was. And no matter how many times a question had been answered previously, I don't recall you posting scathing "USE THE SEARCH NEWB" remarks like many of the rest of us!

Life likes to throw us curveballs, some we hit, and some we miss, but we keep playing the game, waiting for our pitch. You may be without a 911 right now, but as fast as these things are depreciating, it will only take one or two good years to get one back in your garage! Until then, I will still find a way to bother you about Porsche stuff from time to time!

Your family is in my prayers, your daughter, your son, your wife and yourself. Be well.

Best,
Hans
