I don't think I can say anything in addition to everything that has been said so far. You and Dell were the first ones to welcome me when I joined the pcar family. I hope to be here welcoming you when you rejoin the Porsche ownership again.

Guys,

Thanks again for the kind words and thoughtful comments about Damian. I feel truly blessed to have been a member of the RL Family.

JD - it was not a "toilet paper" mod. That sounds too vulgar for a Porsche. It was the "rear wiper" mod, but didn't come off as nice as the OEM version, as evidenced by the pics.

Tim,

Wow, I'm kinda speechless. I waited a day to see if this actually WAS an april fools post. Guess not.

I'd like to think that Damian was with you in the passenger seat each and every time you drove your Pcar. I'd like to think he is laughing at each and every joke you make, and each funny picture.

I don't want to get too sappy cause I feel confident we will see you here again when the time is right. How about tomorrow?

Tim,

Godspeed, my friend. If you find yourself on the west side of our Metroplex, give me a call. The burgers and brew are on me.

Dear Tim,
I am truely sad after reading your farewell post... I was hoping that you would hang around this forum forever even though you now drive a Honda, actually nobody cares about what you drive, more importantly we love your sense of humor and care in helping others here. I was a newbie 2.5 yrs ago and you made me feel at home immediatly and you helped me out with Mods, that was great. Even now I can still learn from your experiences. I had the opportunity to have met you in person here in Dallas, it was awesome. I sincerely wish you the best and hope to see you around here or in Dallas if you have time to go to lunch and have a fun chat together. BTW I also lost my job last week and now have officially joined the unemployed gang, it's sad but I am sure we will be fine with our perseverance and relentless tenacity Good luck Tim and let's keep in touch OK? Please PM me anytime you want to get together for lunch as I am always looking forward to seeing you again. Take care my friend,
-Bao

You can't leave Tim.

You're probably one of the most knowledgable members here. I'm sometimes amazed at the detail of your posts.

Be strong for your wife and daughter.

I feel truly blessed to have known you, AND met you in person (yes, he does exist!). All the best to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you.

And I'm sure you know RL membership does not require Porsche ownership. Stick around, or stop in whenever you can, buddy.

If you leave Tim...I will stalk you on the Honda site or any other site...and I will google your A&% and find you!!! I need someone to make fun of once in a while......

Having 2 small children and a 14 yr old step son.... I can't even imagine your pain, and wish you all the strength in the world...... they say time heals all wounds..I know that this wound will never go away you just learn to live with it!

Still if you leave this forum I WILL HUNT YOU!!! and find..don't forget I was in the Marines for 8 years....and if you want to stay more connected to this forum you can fly out to SOCAL a couple of times a year and come and wash my Porsche...I might even let you drive it ( I mean backing it in and out of the garage!!)

Sorry Tim...but life needs to be a mixture of serious and sarcasm for me to survive......

Tim so sorry about your son. I remember when you shared that story some years back when my son was just a toddler, and it touched my heart in such a way that has brought me closer to my son, and it taught me to savor every single moment I spend with him and constantly seek opportunities to do fun things together.

You are in a large part what makes the 996 forum a fun place to be in - without the cliques from other forums. We will certainly miss you around here.

Wish you the best!
