I had a question about the microswitch in a 996 that raises or lowers the window 1/4 - 1/2 inch.
I'm fighting this issue in my '03 996TT, as the passenger window does not automatically go down 1/4 - 1/2 inch right before I either open or close the door. Currently I have to manually put the window down 1/4 - 1/2 inch via the electric window button on the console, then close the door and again via the electric window button raise the window up the last 1/4 - 1/2 inch to make it seal.
Was it the microswitch in the door handle ?
Was it the regulator ?
What is the real name for the part ? Do have have a part # ? Or can you tell me what part to ask for ?
