Emailed the guy yesterday for ****s and giggles - he claims the P0102 mass airflow CEL. Seemed a bit too simple of a fix to warrant such a low price... and now the description says totally dead motor.

Yesterday version:
I have it priced low because the engine needs a little work, I have replaced the coils and spark plugs but it will need a maf because there is a code for it and it runs rough.

we could go to the Test n Tunes this winter and come spring really turn some heads!!

BTW they changed the test and tunes, Don K is running them this year not Tom P, and the price DOUBLED - plus they are offering newbies a 1/2 day car control clinic plus instruction to help rope in the rodeo clowns - I have not heard any reviews on how it is going ---- T2 is having a mixed day with motorcycles and cars down at the ridge on black friday I heard - that would be fun (run separate groups)

i've followed that 996 CL ad for 2.5 weeks - 2 weeks ago he described the car as running rough and needing coils or spark plugs - now the ad says "replaced coils and plugs and the car won't start - all of a sudden it died at a stop light"

my first question is who at porsche ever thought a champagne or green porsche was a good idea?

secondly, i would have to guess this cars engine is toast. sounds like intermix had it running rough and final blow was total shutdown of engine.

I am guessing you have to change out quite a bit of the engines electronics to swap out to a 997's 3.8L.
