Anyone In Need Of A Motor? (3.6 X-51)
I have a 2004 3.6 X-51 Motor left over from when our shop closed last year that was originally purchased new from Porsche (NOT a reman) for a customer's race car - but ultimately eneded up as a short term transplant in to a Boxster chassis.
The motor only has about 10 hours on it and was upwards of $14K new. There is no warranty or paperwork AND it's missing the wiring harness (which is specific to the X-51 kit). The hardware to put it back in a Carerra chassis is back on so it should be good to go once the wiring harness is added.
$7500 FIRM AS IS. Prefer local pick up in San Diego or you pay for freight and crating.
PM if interested.

Hey Jordan what's up.
I used to work with Jordan at Mindover and am the one responsible for performing the actual engine swaps.
Let me straighten out a few facts. The wire harness isn't specific to X51, it's a variocam plus engine and you can just swap over your current '02 and up engine harness. While it will bolt into any 996 chassis your better off if your car is '02 or newer, because the DME uses different software and the wire harness is different from the earlier cars too. It's not impossible to put it into an early car just more exspensive.
