I like the Black/Linen color combo, will help out keeping the interior cool from March thorugh November.

I hope to make it to WZ next weekend to help the minority air-cooled attendance numbers.

Odometer finally hit 99,000

On the other hand, they also have this one that I like, although the asking price is a little salty for my budget:

I've looked at several cars there and talked to John. They typically send their Porsches to European Performance over on Hillsborough St to have them checked out or for repairs. If you like 1 of their cars you should check with European Performance for any service records. Overall John from Prestige seems to be a pretty straight up guy even if he does ask a little over what I think the cars are worth sometimes.

Thanks for the input. I've looked at a couple of cars there in the past but never found any feedback about that dealer. That's good to know.

Michael, at least your engine was in the right location!

Another jab at the front engine crowd!
To quote the great philosopher Moe:

Curious about front engine Porsche performance? Check this out:

Who has the right to define a Porsche

only as a rear-engine, air-cooled car? Just because

the first two cars were this, can we not grow?

Do we not evolve

Looking forward to Saturday. As info, Hurricane is having a tech session at Leith Porsche Saturday morning at 10:30 if anyone is interested. May be bringing the Boxster again, 911 is still ailing with a broken sway bar brace; sorry Michael and John. Travel has interferred with my ability to get it fixed.

No problem.

Do you need the brace welded?

John, through research I am finding that this is a common problem with the 911 as they age. The old support/brace will need to be cut off and a new stronger support welded on. I have already spoken with Chuck Miller at Millersport in Hillsborough about the repair, just need to find the time to get the car there. Plus i need a tech inspection for an upcoming Tar Heel DE. See you Saturday.

The sway bar bracket is a common weakness.

You could upgrade with the Wevo sway bar bracket

fyi. If any of you guys are wondering the history of a pre-owned Porsche, I have access to all of Porsche North America records. I can see what warranty work has been completed through the life of the car. It usually also tells me where they have been serviced.

P.S. We are currently hiring for 1 sales position if anyone would like to fulfill the dream
