Yes,that's essentially it; would be happy to help if I wasn't GOING TO VIR THIS WEEKEND.

Argh! I didn't realize that VIR was this weekend. Life has been so crazy that I'm losing track of time. I was hoping to get to do coffee on Saturday, but if you guys are not there, then maybe I'll pass.

The reason for the job is that my horn bushings have gone (I think I broke them), so I need to fix them. I have the gasket sealer and am all set, I just wanted to be sure of what I was getting into. It's driving me nuts to be driving around with the fuse pulled on my horn.

There goes the neighborhood.

Note: There will still be coffee and Porsche talk at WZ this Saturday, even if I have to mumble to myself, so anybody not going to VIR is still welcome to come by.

Yeah, I find that to be frustrating, as I'm not a finger pointer.

Hey, less of that! You're just afraid that you'll pull up along side me in the shark and I'll leave you standing.

Well, if there's coffee, then I'll see if I can make it... it's a good motivator for me getting up early, then fixing my horn.

That's funny! I didn't see you guys take the photo.

It least you didn't photograph me trying to figure out why my son's seatbelt wouldn't fasten.

Okay, no to fixing the horn before the sun gets too bright.

Oh you're good! I thought it was classic that the photo captured my son picking his nose.... I swear that kid has his finger in there half of the day.

Well, I got the airbag off pretty easily. Filled with silicone and I'm now waiting for it to dry. Pretty easy job. It's always nice when a $4 tube of silicone saves you $250

haha, didnt notice your boy.... just think of it as he is keeping himself clean inside and out....in time he will figure out how to be more discrete, dont sweat it.

Cool repair, time for a second cup

I actually have to hit the gym soon... after 11 months of a poor quality lifestyle I need to get back in shape and drop 20 lbs. The combination of commuting between states and business travel means that my gym routine has been non-existent. I need to fix that and get back to normal life.

As for my son... there's no fixing him, it's like talking to a wall. This week after getting tired of always telling him to lock his door when he gets out of my wife's car we resorted to the equivalent of writing "I will lock my door" on a chalkboard and told him to get in and out of the car 20 times buckling up in his seat, unbuckling, getting out, locking the door and then repeating the cycle... that seems to have done the trick.

Yuck!

Yeah, I just checked my tires and see that they're on the wear bars on the rear, so I now have to order tires before I get the NC inspection done.
