Splitter, diffuser and side skirts were fabricated by a friend of mine. Everything is aluminum and airplane rivets. Functional and beautiful. Gotta love the 996.

Love the look of the Taco in full deflection.

Me too. You can actually see how the aero lines of the kit match up with the taco under full deflection...less noticeable when the spoiler is flat. The aero on the rear bumper has always been an eye sore to me...maybe I'm going crazy, but it seems less offensive if the taco is fully deflected.

It's very rare we get to see a true mk1 gt3 on this side of the pond.

Thanks! I had a 944 Turbo, chipped with Fabspeed exhaust. Loved the wooOOSSHH! Sold it and got the 996. Love everything about the car, new and digital. Looking for the best of both worlds, hoping a 996TT will do the trick. :-)

I just saw that example with the diffuser..... maybe it appeals to some from a cosmetic standpoint but there isn't any performance coming from that mod.
