OK, here's mine with 138,000+ miles on the odometer taken this weekend after a cross-town drive in the rain.

My two favorite 996s are the MK I aero and the MK II C4S.

The aero is aggressive, but doesn't scream "hey, look at me!".

Gorgeous cars in this thread guys.

All of them look so clean, makes me feel bad about washing my car total of 3 times since I got it in July. I drove it through the rain a few times, so that can be counted as a wash too.

Seal grey does not show dirt at all. I realize how dirty it is when I look at the 100s of dead bugs on my frond bumper and windshield. Going to wash it...later this week.

I hate the bumperettes. Would the mk2 c2 fit and look more even or how about the gt3 cup rear bumper with the center exhaust cut out?

I've been trying to get a buddy of mine to see if he can CNC some custom blanking plates out of abs to cover the entire area once you remove the bumperettes to give it a cleaner euro look.

Hmm... I need to measure and see if my MakerBot build plate is big enough to print some.

Wouldn't that be time consuming and cost prohibitive?

Funny story, the Harold Washington Chicago library got some 3d printers in but they won't let the public use them. Library workers use them to occasionally print some trinkets here and there for kids. Another excellent use of our tax dollars. I need to make a friend over there so they can let me 3d print a custom oil cap at least.

I just installed painted bumperettes and OEM taco (both sourced through forums). I Love the look. I was temped to go aftermarket for the taco, but patiently waited for one to pop up. I need to find the correct harness to get the purge fan running. I think it is a great look for a 99. I need the front bumper (or splitter) to complete it, but I have some maintenance to do first, as I wait for an OEM front cover to pop up
