Time consuming...no, it can run all day. Cost prohibitive: not if they're not too thick. Anyone actually interested in black PLA plastic bumperette blanks?
Wouldn't that be time consuming and cost prohibitive?
Funny story, the Harold Washington Chicago library got some 3d printers in but they won't let the public use them. Library workers use them to occasionally print some trinkets here and there for kids. Another excellent use of our tax dollars. I need to make a friend over there so they can let me 3d print a custom oil cap at least.

How many cars came from the factory with the aero kit? I can't seem to find that number.

I have never been a fan of the stuck on slabs behind the rear wheels. I know Porsche had a reason to do this, but I think they rushed it or something. When you look at the Mk2 on my GT3 below, you'll see a more subtle treatment behind the rear wheels which I think works much better.
There was a comment earlier about needing the rear slabs to help balance the car with the Mk1 kit. Not sure about that. I can see the point, I just wish the rear slabs were about half as "in your face" as they are.
Wing style and 19" wheels? To each his own. I'm sticking with 18" wheels.
Cheers,

I totally agree, the rear slap on slabs look awful. Other than that, the MK1 Aero kit is beautiful. In fact, they are aging so gracefully that I think that MK1 911s are soon going to be highly sought after.

I'm interested. I was actually just talking to my body guy about trying to fill in the bumperette holes on my aero. Euro bumper so much cleaner.

Finally got a pic of mine. '99 Arena Red with LSD. Don't make fun of the headlights. They're siliconed on and won't come off.....

As to Litronics, I figure I can get some and use them for a few years and sell them later for not much of a loss...
