PA/NJ/NY Final Fling: Fall Foliage on October 13th

To be honest I looked for one and didn't find an appropriate spot to stop. The drive is an easy one, so we were leaning towards telling people to stop as needed.
Let me look back at our notes and see if I can find a place where you guys can join up with us.

When Phil states that he drove his C4S around this past week, THAT is what he means!
Hey Phil, your psychotherapist called and said he forgot to order the Leather Fuse Panel Cover. He also asked me to tell you that has an opening tomorrow morning at 9:00 A.M. Oh, yeah...... bring your checkbook!

Well, if Phil was not "on call" this weekend you could have him lead the pack. There is no way anyone could get lost. They would all be able to see his car at the head of the pack, raised up on the flatbed of a tow truck and him in the driver's seat of his car making vrrooommm noises!

Time for a quick bump in preparation for next week's drive.
Things to remember:
1) Bring a picnic lunch - we will be eating lunch in the park.
2) Make sure you fill up your car and empty your bladder before you arrive in the parking lot.
3) Bring 2-way radios if you have them - it's a good way to keep in touch during the drive.
4) Bring money. The park wasn't charging entrance when we visited, but I don't know if the do charge at peak times.
You will find a coffee shop on Bridge St. in Lambertville for coffee and donuts if you so desire. Also, you will find 2 gas stations at the intersection of Bridge St. and Rte 29 for filling up/emptying out. These gas statinos are a short walk from the start point.
The leaves appear to be changing at a good pace right now, so I'm hopeful for some spectacular views by next weekend.

Would it be a good idea for everyone to make up a nametag or sign to put in the rear side window - so we know who is who? Aside from Wellard's white C2, I probably wouldn't recognize anyone else!

That's not a bad idea. We've talked about it in the past. I occasionally wear a name tag, but others are harder to identify. If you'd like to do something like that feel free.
Oh, another point. Take lots of photos during the drive and send them to me afterwards. I always post photos on a website and write and article for the local PCA region.
