Steve,

Can't wait to hear the review! They look great, I'm glad you're pleased. I sure wish I knew about this mod before I got my PSE mufflers.

Well the mufflers have been installed, pretty straight forward but having a lift really helped.

I can hear a difference and I like it , much deeper sound but not obnoxious. A bit late for me to do a vid though, so that will be done tomorrow. So I will have a link to a vid pre 3.6 and a link to a vid post 3.6., I know making you wait even more

But I did have the tips changed out and wanted to post pics of that to see what you thought:

Beautiful Steven. I must say you have impeccable taste. Very muscular look yet subtle and stylish.

Those tips must add at least 15hp right?

Well, since you asked for opinions about the exhaust tips, IMO, they stick out too far. Personally, I don't like the look. Please understand that I am not trying trying to flame you here.

Also, I can foresee the possibility of them getting scraped (or worse) if you have to drive into/out of a very steep driveway. That happened to me once when I pulled into a client's driveway, and I have stock tips that don't stick out nearly that far.

However, if YOU like them, keep them. F#*k what anyone else thinks.

+1 with what Tim said.

Those tips are about 6" too long IMHO.

I'd also worry about people's shins getting singed/burnt as they are walking around the back of the car and accidently hitting the tip...seem like they stick out a little too far!!!

OK this was just a joke, I can't hold out any longer

I have my original tips that I had before on the new mufflers so don't worry. My cousin-in-law owns the muffler shop that did all the work and so we looked around for a 'flower pot' tip, found a huge diesel tip about 10" in diameter 15" long that shrunk towards the pipe end but would not fit over my tips, so we found this one and wanted to play with your heads. Seems those that responded thought I was serious about the change

So don't worry about the new tips in the pics, they are not on the car

Now for my verbal bashing right

That was a good one!

I must say that when I first saw the tips, I thought "WTF is he thinking? Those tips look like ****!"

Plus they are not nearly as classy as my 'Vette side pipes!

Hey Darin, I just had them put on 2 weeks ago....I know, I'm slow!

Like them a lot. When they pulled away in my car at the dealership to take it in for service, the sound was amazing. I had a smile from ear to ear when I heard it.

Thanks a million for your help to get them done Darin. When are you coming down to Santana Row for one of the Saturday morning meetings? You should team up with Steven on 7/21 and come down.
