Hmm.. this makes me think that the Super Sport will not be loud enough for me, if they are only 15% louder than yours... Grrr... anyone else install yet?

 

UPS just dropped me off a box! Box was packed well, and arrived here in 1 day- thanks Dayton! The mufflers look great- very solid and the welds look nice. Each muffler weighs 13.5 lbs (I couldn't seem to find weights for other systems, so I don't really know how this compares with the rest- weight isn't much of a concern for me anyways). Don't have time to install them today, but by Saturday they'll be on. So far so good!

FYI- For a comparison, I found out that the stock exhaust weighs 21.5 lbs, and GHL's weigh 14lbs.

 

guess I am the unlucky one....ordered them Tuesday..it is now Thursdya night...and nothing yet!! So no one day'er for me I guess.....

 

Don't feel bad. It has been a week and I have not recieved a call back. At this point I say heck with it.

 

you got to call them and ask for Dayton..I called 2 times and both times and Dayton picked up the phone.

 

I'm still interested and will give Dayton another call. I just want more feedback from those of you who have installed before I order the Super or Sport.

 

I just called thedepartstop and got Dayton on the line rightaway...he is checking if my order has been send out.....I need more sound and need it NOW!!

 

Well, didn't quite get the exhaust installed this weekend like I had hoped. I've been pretty busy lately, and though I wanted to install the exhaust myself, it doesn't look as though I'll have time. I now have an appointment with a Porsche specialty shop for Wed. Their labor quote was (pleasantly)suprising- only $100. I'll do the full write-up on Wed.

promisses promisses....has been 3 weeks now..Dayton promissed me today (Friday) but unless something happens in the next 40 minutes the day is over!!! ****...I am glad I didn't order anything I really needed to keep my P running...because that would suck big time!!!! Don't know if I would ever purchase anything else from the departstop.com..........lucky not having sport exhaust isn't stopping me from driving!!

 

Any feedback on the new mufflers? I'm trying to decide between the Dansk, PSE or Tubi.
I would like to hear what you think of the Dansk?
