Default Dansk vs. Zerotek

I'm also looking for sport exhaust and ran across Zerotek. I have heard some sound clips and it sounds good although the sound clips include a Cat bypass. The Zerotek are going for $599.00 right now. Has anyone heard anything about zerotek? I want the Porsche F1 sound not the muscle car sound.

Also, has anyone heard the Gemballa mufflers? Any comments or sound links?

Thanks,

Dan

I got the same thing when I called. Left my number with him almost two hours ago. Interesting that today is the order day and suddenly he's not available. I hope they don't back out on us.

Hey guys- I called today too, and apparently Dayton (the owner) had a family emergency and won't be back in until Monday. Looks like anyone else who would like to join in has until Monday now...

I called Dayton yesterday, placed the order, rec'd em today and they sound great...exactly what I wanted. I also purchased Schnell tips and they are crap and going back to Vertex. Who has the best bang for the buck on tips?

I got the sport exhaust (non OE)...they are pretty much exactly what you hear in the sound clip...I don't think they are quite as loud as the fabspeeds or GHL's, which is what I wanted...at the last minute I changed my mind from ordering the OE PSE's; to me they sounded the quietest on the sound clip. Anyway, I was only able to drive it about 5 miles in stip and go so I've gotta get out today and let her rip...

Default Lucky!

Dale- thanks for rubbing it in our faces! j/k Really glad to hear that the exhausts sound just like the sound clips- if that's the case, then I know I'll be really happy.
I'm actually going to be in L.A this weekend and had hoped to pick mine up today, but Departstop isn't open weekends.
What other work was done on the car while you had it in the shop?

Holiday!!!!! The departstop is in LA????? Man that makes it even better..I have got to go to LA Monday to pick something up and can pick up the cans too!!! Where are they located?

And Dale...if they sound like in the clips..than the super sound should be exactly what I want. Have a nice drive..got to go to work (well work..shooting pictures of scantily clad women) got to make money for the exhaust..and the new X5 I bought yesterday.

I did not even bother to call on Friday after reading that Dayton was away... I am curious how the Super Sound will sound... I hope just like the sound clip too. Anyone know if the Super sound is lighter than the OEM non sport cans?

Troy, are you still going with the Super Sound? After Dale's post I may switch to the Sport. I'll need to talk to Dayton. Holiday, no problem switching cans since the orders are not placed yet, correct?

Holiday: had to have the clutch slave cylinder replaced...kinda wierd considering the car only has 55,000 miles...geez, my SC had 250k miles and I never replaced anything except the alternator. Oh yeah, well, had to have the tranny rebuilt, too. But still...
