My car is in the shop anyway so I called and found out the following for overnight shipping: they use UPS so they cannot guarantee delivery but 'Brown' has pretty good reliability. Anyway, for next day delivery by 8:30 am add $69 to the total including the $50 that is already in the total for shipping, i.e., $69 + $50 + $875...for a total of $994. Add $41 for delivery by 12 noon and add $35 for delivery by 4:30 pm. Disclaimer: I'm located fairly close to Departstop.com so I'm not sure whether they can do the same for any of you out of state guys...call to check.

I'm definately still in, just wondering if should back down to the Sport Sound instead of the Super? Worried about coming home late and waking up the neighbors. Also the whole cab thing, will it be too loud? I want my exhaust to have definition, but I don't want it so loud like a stinger on the ricer's.

Troy, that was my fear as well; however, I posted the question on Renntech and another Cab owner replied that he has it and loves it...just recommended using factory tips. I also called Departstop and they said it is not that the Super Sound is any louder just a different tone, much lower. From the sound clip it also sounds that way. I am going to give it a try. If it works out it will be nice to have something different as I do not personally know anyone with the Dansk. According to holiday's post, Departstop is willing to do exchanges if we are not happy, I certainly do not want to go down that route though.

For what it is worth, I got concerned over Performance's Dyno chart in their catalog. I called them and they said that the chart was in error and that the round can and OEM can got switched. What that means according to their chart is that the round cans will gain very little 1-5 HP (but does not loose HP as the chart shows) and the pressed is correct at almost 30HP gain (I doubt that but that is what the chart shows). Additionaly, they have the Dansk mufflers on sale until the 3rd for $998.75 so that means that we got a good deal. I will be calling Dayton shortly, I am tempted to switch to the pressed cans though.
