Jsaindc - no I haven't decided yet. Have you ordered? Has anyone actually ordered the Super Sound? Did I understand last week that the pressed cans were the Sport sound, and that the pressed cans have more HP supposedly?

 

I have not ordered yet...waiting for Dayton to call me back, left 2 messages on Friday and 1 today. I want to talk about it with Dayton. I keep going back and forth on this one. I like the sound of the Super Sound but I am starting to think it maybe to loud. I heard that the OEM style sport gives better performance but I think it sounds no better than my current exhaust (from the clip). I'll let you know what I do. Have you made up your mind?

 

No, I haven't. I want it to be defined and distinctive, but not obnoxious. I left my name and number with Dayton on Friday also and so far he hasn't called back. Please do let me know which one you decide to go with. I'll do the same.

 

I called Dayton this morning... and asked him about the super sound...but he seemed confused with the terms....he thought I wanted the PSE....when I told him that I wanted the louder ones he had to look something up......my problem is now that I don't want the fabspeed lookalike cans, because the sound seemed very muffled...i wanted the Supersound ones...I tried to call 5 minutes ago...but got a message that "all circuits were busy"
I am going to check the supersound serial number so there will be no mistake about which one I want and get

 

Nicolaas- if you continue to have trouble, just tell him to look at the excel file I sent him- it's got the specific part number for each of our orders. That should help keep the confusion down...

 

Hmmm...has not called me back and could not tell Nicolaas the product he is selling us.

Just got off the phone with Departstop and placed my order- Super Sound on the way! I'll try to get it installed by this weekend, and will let you know what I think...

 

same here holiday...can't wait to install and hear the kitten ROAR...like TIGER...sorry I know it sounds cheeasy....but I am so sick of the silence of my curretn exhaust!

 

It sounds to me like ordering them isn't as time sensitive as I originally thought since several of us haven't had our calls returned. I'm going to wait until Holiday and Nicolaas get theirs installed and send some feedback before I choose the Super's or Sport.

Ok, I got the sport PSE non OE...they aren't really very loud at all, which is what I wanted...so you guys who want a good deal of sound I'd definitely reommend the super sports...I'm pretty sure you'll be much happier with those...you guys who want more exhaust note but don't want to become really freindly with the local guys in blue, or who know, like myself, that I can't help but put my foot into the pedal often and are afraid of the consequences from, again, the men in blue (god, I can't stand those guys) because of my lead foot, should order the cans I got...HOH!
