Another option, spend a mere $8K for a new Fabspeed exhaust, and get a hose and cap FREE!!

Cuda 911, you don't have a cap - the part you have actually removes the resonance chamber and adds usable volume to the airbox. The Orange cap mod does not have the ability to do this.

Not sure what that is. What year is your car? Is it a special edition?

Still not sure what this tube does or where it goes. I don't have one on my 2002 targa.

2003 4CS TIP. Does anyone out there know what the tube is for? Nice idea to put an air filter on the end of it....I think-

I have x51 and on x51 or Tip you have that hose you need to go to auto parts buy a crank case breather and stick it on end of hose like my picture and you are good to go.

I did this mod today to my car. I was little skeptic about the result's before, but this mod really changes the intake note. Had a stupid grin on my face after the first over 4k rpm wot pull

I did my own plug that eliminates the chamber from the airbox, but uses the stock intake pipe for stock look. Nothing need's to be modified, just plug and play..

Take it back down to the airbox then its still filtered and theres no need to add a filter to the end of the pipe.

Wow 9 pages dedicated to making some noise...

Think I'll try to modify my card holder on my bicycle spokes to be louder too.

What is the benefit of removing the resonator vs. just capping / bypassing it?
