I guess I can concur with that but the diiference b/t the clearbra and jamming a piece of plastic in the air intake is two totally diff things. Like I said, to each his own. I ain't doing it.

I can guarantee that the clear bra is a lot more dangerous to the car than the orange cap mod.

ok...so aside from ordering one from a website, is there another place i could try? like goto lowes and buy a bunch of caps and see which one fits? i'd much rather goto the store than hassle with online ordering and shipping for a 25 cent piece of plastic

I used to do that on my bike when I was kid. I must have had 10 cards on my Schwinn...I also used to put WD40 under the left hadle bar grip so I could pretend I was throttling up on my Harley!!!

Great memory!!!

Remember the VROOM motor? It was a plastic motor that bolted to the frame and made motor noises. There was a kid in my neighborhood that had one and (I am not making this up) he was allowed to ride in the street because of it!

Yep. I remember it but it was after my time on a bike. I rememebr jamming an empty coke can above the brake caliper so the edge hit he tire and that sounded pretty kool.

Who needs to buy a device? By high school my buddies and I could imitate many a different motor at idle by mouth in much the same way today's youth provides bass for rapping without the boom box. My specialty was the cammed 454.

I decided I would try this out and ordered two of the caps from the link in this post. Took all of two minutes to order the part and it did not cost a dime. I have never been able to get in and out of any of those home improvement stores in under 20 minutes. I buy everything I can online now. It is so convenient and saves so much time. My local P-Car dealer parts manager has a real attitude and it very pricy. I know order all my maintenance and other parts online also. I just call up and five minutes later I am done. Usually takes about a week to receive the part, but I rarely need it before then anyway.

I will check how it fits and decide whether I want to try once I get the cap. I have PSE but want to see how the sound with this compares.
