996 fever is only just beginning. Magnus gets the millennials excited about the 996 thru his youtube videos. Seinfeld pays a handsome price for a one of a kind 996. Nobody talks about the headlights anymore. Even with the cost of a rebuilt engine, the car is less expensive and will be less expensive "all in" to service, maintain, refresh and enhance in relation to a 997, 991 and 993. Plus it has aged well with a classic look that can be "dressed down" w/o aero or "dressed up" with aero. Who the heck wouldn't want a 996. Maybe Leno is next. Regardless, the list will continue to grow.

The Club Coupe is a really cool car. Worth every penny he paid.

#1 - I highly doubt JS is lurking on Rennlist.
#2 - Even if he were, I doubt he’d identify/out himself…
Let’s face it, there’s really no upside for him here. It’s not like he does his own wrenching and is looking for tips… I think it’s great that he bought the 996 club coupe - it’s a very cool car, & he’s got lots of cool cars (some of which are questionable, but there’s no accounting for taste).
