Just making sure to let everyone know we’re still on for the first weekend of December. Probably doing the long leg recommended earlier in the thread.

Unfortunately, I think I've got to back out. I was really hoping to be able to make it, but life is crazy right now and on top of that I just found out yesterday I've got to go out of town for work that week. Hope y'all have a blast and maybe I can link up with you all next year for Pike's Peak.

I'm still a maybe. On one hand I would be thrilled to meet the group in person, and on the other hand, meh. 😂 Just kidding.
Mostly it's money, my car is still clunking, new coffin arms are still sitting in the box while I try to save money for the front end suspension refresh. Too many expenses recently.

Hello all,
I am Mark Davies, 168Sierra, (formerly 158Sierra until my email address changed). I will be arriving near the Dragon on Friday morning. Is there any information concerning meet up location for the group? There is a very good drive from Tellico Plains (south end of Cherohalla Skyway, TN 165), go south on Hwy 68 to Ducktown then west on Hwy 64 to Ocoee Lake, then north on 315 back to Tellico Plains. This is a 1-1/2 - 2 hr drive on very lightly travelled roads. If you want a longer drive stay on TN 68 south from Ducktown to Copperhill and then GA Hwy 60 (TN 68 changes to GA 60 at the state line) south to Suches/Dalonega and then east on Hwy 19 to US 129 near Cleveland GA (home of Flat Six Innovations). North on 129 across Blood Mountain to Hwy 180 and accross Wolf Pen Gap back to Suches. I live just outside Chattanooga Tn and have driven and ridden these roads for years.
My wife may come with me and let me drive her 2003 996 C2 with a 4.0 Flat Six Track Performer engine.
De Jeeper, I would like to compare it to your GT3 engined 996 if you would like that.
Thanks to the. Chunk Norris for organizing this tour.

Pm chunk..... he is organising most of the details. I think some of us r staying at an airb&b but i dont have any details.
my plan is to start heading south around 6am fri morn with zbomb and get in before 6pm. Not sure where im going but im sure it figure it out. Just got the conti's mounted on the gt3 rims and ready from my roadkill road trip.
u r welcome to drive the gt3ish for a comparison. Im sure u will find it just as glorious but different.

I have the same question, I would like to join the group, but need some sort of schedule as to day, time and start location.
