What are your thoughts about 19” wheels on the 996? Should I buy a spare set of shoes for this car? I like the look and bought the car with these wheels…but maybe I’m missing out on the proper ride as designed for the 996 with 17”’or 18”?

NYP - a ton of great looks, especially on white.

Question - are there any OEM 996 GT3 wheels stamped Italy? I’d assume no but have run into conflicting info. And specifically the GT3 optional wheels with the WB offset if it makes a difference (18x11 +45)

Finished console delete with relocated seat heater controls to HVAC bezel. Definitely liking the clean look.

To my research no all gt3 rims were German
and that’s the look I like best on my car and it’s the latest set to adorn my love

Man i only have 4 sets of wheels. Oz and Apex for the track and Sport Techo and real GT3s for the street.

I sold my third set because I needed the room and they set outside for over 6 months.
I decided 2 sets were plenty.
I think the only set that I might buy now and make room for are some classic Fuchs wheels.

Since this is a picture thread, here is my most current photo I have of my car.


Currently in storage while the engine is being rebuilt.
Should have some engine disassembly pictures soon.

Don't forget about the other stuff you have: Common sense, a mf'ing peterbuilt tow rig, a Mezgar and a big wing with an American flag on it.

Your'e a walking, talking flex machine.... I hate it.
