My dentist car😎. 01 C2 6mt in meridian metallic. Took this on the weekend right after 15mm spacers installed to move those wheels out of the shadows. Wheels are tt. They need refinishing but I like the classic turbo twist will likely keep them.
I have 7mm spacers on the front now, not installed in this photo... Freshly off the jack, she looks off road ready here. Might do coilovers at some point. I'm thinking of silvers, they are Florida based, look like nice quality, and they will do custom spring rates on swift springs for 1k less than ohlins. Any opinions or experience? Thanks

Never heard of Silvers coilovers.
Please post a pic with the front spacers installed.
For some it definitely is. There were not a lot of 'special' 996 builds, and those that were made were in greater quantities than past 911s. See the lovely 40 Jahr edition for example. I think all 996s are desirable. And I finally have one . I love it so much. My dog is jealous and my bank balance keeps moving to my CC accounts. An example of conspicuous consumption when the world is a damnable mess. I need a hobby though, as we all do. Here's a photo of my urotuning O2 sensor spacers installed onto topgear 200 cell xpipe cats. I think I've said it before, but I did the whole exhaust. One of my mufflers was rattling and making a less than Porsche approved noise when revved. I did all topgear headers, cats, and valved exhaust. I'm so glad I got the valved edition, it's like having two cars and it helps make people know you are on the road beside or behind them. My indy did a fantastic job installing. I had 4 bolt heads missing on the passenger side exhaust manifold, there was no way I would have attempted that on my own. The o2 spacers were needed to deal w the CEL post install. that I did myself. I used a bit of antisieze and did not (I hope) over tighten the sensors into the extensions and the extensions into the cats. No more CELs so far. After it had cooled after a spirited highway run to test 'no more cel' I checked the install, they are not loose at all. Here they are -
silvers have good feedback, but I think for the same money Feal's are still the safest bet
Re Feals...I believe you are right. After a bit more research, if I remember correctly, the Feal 441+ come with swift springs, it's not an upgrade. On the Silvers, it is. Bringing them to about the same $. BUT, Silvers are a FL USA company. They claim 100% manufactured in FL, not just assembled. I don't know, but I like that.
Feal is CA based and their lower end stuff might not be usa made. I'm rambling...and I'm not budgeting for coilovers this year dangit. Must resist. I have Eibach sway bars and drop links font and rear to install, it will keep me busy for a bit.
Luckily, my stock b4s are new on the rear, I had them done, and looking at the front, all the bits are in good shape and the struts are new. Certainly not original but look good. I don't track and don't even like to speed, but I do like the revs ..
There's a remarkable amount of Porsche specialist love in FL.
HPD for example - https://www.hpdwheels.com/.
Silvers (Fort Myers, FL 33916) - https://silvers-na.com/pages/about
Flat6 - https://flat6motorsports.com/pages/about-us-1
And literally dozens more manufacturers, maybe even hundreds of others.
And then the holy grail the revs institute https://revsinstitute.org/
I guess Sebring and Daytona might have something to do with it. Or just tax benefits make it attractive. Not to mention the weather . It's a good place to own a sportscar. Anywhere is a good place to own a sportscar. Well, with roads. Unless you have a Safari.
