100mi is a good little effort for one day. How do you like the Factor? I prefer lugged carbon (Colnago), but the Sea Sucker is intriguing.
It was over two days actually but pretty damn windy and hilly! Almost 9000ft of elevation gain. I haven't had the Factor that long but the initial impressions are very positive. It's a fast bike - faster than I have legs for! My all time favorite riding bike has been my 2012 BMC SLR01. I'd say this comes pretty damn close to it but you still know you're on a aero race bike. The split downtube is very striking and gets peoples attention quite a bit. The integrated bar/stem is beautiful but I wish the drops had about 6 degrees of flare. It feels very at home at 25mph+. It's not a classic like a Colnago but I think the bike looks pretty good in the age of funky bars and other aero shapes bikes have now. The SeaSucker has been great. It was a windy day during the drive and I've hit 90mph in a few spots and mostly cruised 75-80mph - no problems at all. Bike was still there when I got home
Finally finished up the new exhaust I've been building for the Turbo. The straight pipes were just too damn loud and droned like crazy. This is much better.
My third 911. I got it a week ago. Can't believe it took me almost 4 years to come back to these amazing cars. This is a 2001 C4, 6 spd manual, bone stock.
No issues with heat on my car even though the heat shielding is removed from the bumper. Lots of room (and air flow) back there with my custom exhaust and no OEM muffler.
