Very rare to see full grown back seat passengers in a 996 !!! Very rare indeed !!

thanks! Seems to be a bad Dual Mass Flywheel causing a loud noise and misfire. Indy will confirm this week…

@timothymoffat The conversion is quite nice. I did the 3.4 -> 3.8 since at the time (COVID), finding the parts to go up to 4.0 wasn't going to happen, plus the added expense. I've been VERY pleased with the 3.8...

RE: back seat passengers - funny how my teenage grandkids always complained about riding in the back seat of our Mini Cooper, but are all smiles when I bring the 911 over.

Car looks great! First time I have seen the wing in a 996. It works well with the seal grey and fuchs wheels.

They do! I am 71 years old and can still recall with clarity my first experience with claustrophobia probably40 years ago. My wife and I were on Martha's Vineyard with friends and they were driving with a small two door sedan. We got in the back and I was paralyzed with thoughts of getting into an accident and being trapped. All very unrealistic but it's been with me ever since and I won't ride in the back of a two door...

Thanks, I’ll try to get better daytime pics. It is a Getty ERS so it is their take on a 993 RS tail for a 996. It looks way better in person. I can’t seem to capture it well and do it justice in pics for some reason.

these are from a professional photographer from when I bought the car. He/she did a better job than I can with my cellphone.
