It is still crazy hot here in Florida but car needs to be cleaned no matter what the temperature 😀

Prior owner had installed WB wheels, which were rubbing and damaging the rear sidewalls. Thanks to rennlist marketplace, this 7/98 built C2 is back to how she ought to be.

Yea 996 Cups and SuperCup series cars are getting rarer and rarer for sale, last of the analog H pattern shift cars. I will be looking out for them at RR7. This one at AJR is beautiful.

1999 C2 in Vesuvio Metallic that I've owned since 2017. Wheel centercaps have been replaced with Porsche caps.

Default A tree worth stopping by
This tree is a copper beech, brought over from Scotland, Lord knows how many years ago. Definitely pre automobile. They live hundreds of years apparently. This particular one is an early '98 build, with no nanny aids and a cable throttle. 1798 that is. @EVOMMM Gnomes planted it, apparently on the same assembly line as the earlier flint beech 😜

Seriously tho, I'll be going back for better pics with my actual camera and when the sun is out. On the drive down to Weymouth (where I took my mom to a quilt expo, no joke, that's a thing) it was bucketing down, I hope no one got caught in the storm out on the bay, it was savage. And we've got a hurricane 🌀 coming right at us. Savannah will be in her garage by tomorrow night, time to batten down the hatches. Here's one more of the tree. I warmed this one in post a bit, maybe too much. It was very overcast. Definitely worth another visit during golden hour. These snapshots don't do it justice.
