Default Replace exhaust tips?

Hi all,

Anyone have any leads on exhaust tip options? I have seen the Fabspeed tips and x-50 style. I would like either LARGE ovals or possibly quads.

I have see that Tubi sells large ovals but they are expensive. If I have to go that route I will, but there’s other things the $ should go to first. Any hints?

Nice! Good price too. Would like to see them side by side against the stock ones. Whenever you get around to installing I’ll be looking out for some pics!

I've been thinking about swapping the tips out on my C4S, but it seems you can't do that with the stock PSE?

Maybe I should just have them cleaned/polished, ha.

can’t change the tips with PSE? Really? Wow. I have Tubi exhaust so I probably should jump for the Tubi tips but they are pricey.

Oh! Which ones did you get? Is it a straight plug/play or will you need to do some cutting or re-welding or anything?

I have a 2004 C4S with PSE. I just removed and cleaned. They polished up great. Just realize that the chrome layer is thin. I polished through in one tiny spot around some deep scratches.
It was really tough getting the tips off of the pipe, but I put them back on with plenty of high temp anti-seize, so hopefully that will help for next time.

Be very careful with the Fabspeed double exhaust tips. They are not double insulated and get very hot causing the paint to heat and bubble on the bumper.....

Thanks for the link! My Alaska airlines VISA is racking up the miles, lol......
Looked too good and I just felt the need to spend a little money on something fun! I'm doing front chin, side skirts, rear diffuser and a cute, little add-on wing next month and this will top it off

I saw on one of the pics, the car had some metal trim around the bumper where the tips stick out. Is this something available for 996's?
