I can’t wait to get it on the car for some proper pics.

Since Slate is darker than Seal Gray, think it’ll compliment the carbon really well.

For the weight watchers in the group. It weighed 4.3lbs without mesh, cables and fan.

I’ll weigh the GT3 aero sometime this week.

Cant wait to see it. GT3 wing is gorgeous, but the RPM Ducktail just ties in the curves and lines of the car so well.

Thanks and I’ve gone back and forth with the wrap vs clear coating, looks like I’ll be dropping it off Tuesday or Wednesday to get cleared. Pretty excited but have a question for the group, you guys think it’s worth wrapping the underside in heat insulation tape?

why not try it with the clear coating first. Should look awesome with the color of your paint. At the end of the day, the only person you gotta make happy is you!

No idea what to suggest on heat insulation. Is it needed, or is there a benefit?

I was thinking that it’ll keep heat away from the carbon but I guess you’re right… there’s 0 benefit.

Been driving almost every day to get up to 1000mi and change the oil. So far the car has been fantastic and hasn’t made any strange sounds or odd puffs of smoke. I’m not naive to think I’m clear of any damage but I really do think the oil filter did its job and kudos to the spin on filter.

The 3M ceramic kit arrived today and my initial impression is the kit will be similar to the Chemical Guys product. Now there’s one thing I immediately noticed, the applicator is wider and uses microfiber bonnets instead of a 4 sided narrow microfiber block that the Chemical Guys kit comes with. Sounds dumb but after coating a 2019 Dodge 1500… the extra girth(that’s what she said) is welcomed.

The second bottle is called a Booster. According to 3M, the booster extends the shine and protection of the coating. Pretty excited to try this kit out, since I stripped the Porsche of the CG coating, I’ll be applying this kit instead.

The kit and booster cost 212.31 shipped from Interwest, the kit itself was 139.00 for those who are interested. I’m hoping to get it done this weekend as the weather here has been amazing, well except for Sunday…. Whole state was storming and a tornado touched down in Ft Myers. I’ll update as I go.

wow that ducktail is an absolutely beautiful bit of kit. I'd be half tempted to leave it unpainted

After the test fit… it’s not going to get painted.

Here’s the test fit and weight of the GT3 spoiler without the fan.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person stateside with one of these but I can’t put into words how nice this duckbill is and amazed these aren’t more prevalent. Also saved about 17lbs from an already light spoiler in the GT3, mine is OEM so I can’t speak for a Misha.
