not wanting a c4s I seen and driven many (996). Anyway at a Honda dealer an 07 carera 4s that my mechanic told me to drive prior to bringing him for ppi, black manual 52k miles they wanted $43 for the car. That was 3 months ago. My wife liked the color combo, but i didn’t liked how it drove. During the drive i set off the traction control light. I’m my opinion maybe $41 that car would have been a deal for someone, yes factory sport exhaust.
I would go crazy breaking all that grey up with factory alumilook silver parts/accents; even steering wheel: every possible Alumilook piece available. Turns Graphite from liability to asset at sale
RNM on BaT... trying on Pcarmarket 7 days later... it's a bold strategy, cotton, we'll see how it works out for him.
Wow at some of the seller's comments.
I had a slightly odd experience recently when attempting to purchase some rare bits for my Z4MC. The seller demanded that I drive to his home on Christmas Eve, which I was unable to accommodate due to the amount of time it would involve. I mentioned it in the thread to let others know they were still available, and another person posted that he had received the same treatment.
Maybe it's me but in both cases I feel the greed. It's palpable. At any rate, happy whatevers rennfolk.
I paid 49,900 to a Porsche dealer for my 2003 C4S mid November. 40,200 on the speedometer, Arctic Silver, black soft leather interior, Xenon lights, Bose, 10,000 miles on the tires. Incredibly clean. Really like new below other than a few faint lines on the leather in 2 spots. No scratches or scrapes or road rash anywhere. A bit of curb rash on the rims. In January she goes in for IMSB, MRE, clutch, flywheel, and whatever else found to be needed. Probably be another $10k.
But ya know what, she's going to be one heck of a car after that work. Actually she is now!!
