Tow hook?
Hey guys, I plan to track my C4S soon and looks like it has GT2 bumpers and there's no tow hook?! I think it might be required at track event.
Should I get to a body shop to cut the bumper somewhere to access or there's other way??
Thank you!

I suspect it's just that there's no opening in the bumper cover to access the fitting. I'm not aware of any track event that requires a tow hook. It's unlikely you'll be in a situation where you'd need it anyway.
Your option is to leave it alone (that's what I'd do) or remove the bumper cover, locate the fitting, cut a hole and put on a hook.

If I were you, I would add one of these since you have to do some cutting:

How can they attach anything to that tow hook? Does it slide in and out?

At my SCDE event in march a tow point was part of the tech inspection and they happy to see the front tow hook. Not sure if the rear mount qualifies. Read the rules for your event.

The rear tow hook is behind the license plate and the black Porsche license plate holder.
I used a hole saw to make a hole in the black plastic license plate holder.
Now I only have to remove the license plate itself in order to install the tow hook.

Pricey but Bumper Plugs makes a tow hook plug to finish off your bumper when not using the front tow hook https://bumperplugs.com/tow-plugs

Our club requires a tow hook (I'm the safety chair, so I have to check for it). We do not require it to be in the front BUT I strongly recommend it. If you are in a situation and you need to be towed, we will find a place to attach the hook, and it could do damage the car. We had a situation where a car had to be towed from the front (no access to rear). The only place we could attach was the sway bar.
Morale of the story, tracks do what they need to do to get your car off of it. Best thing to do is make it easy. They, and all of the other drivers waiting to get back on the track will thank you.

Those bumper "fangs" have access plugs on the bottom but there's nothing there too...

Wow, you’re truly hookless.
Wonder if Rennline tiedown hooks could be used.

I think that's a replica GT2 bumper...If you google photos of the GT2 you can see the hole for the tow hook is there. The tow hook screws into the bumper itself behind the cover. The GT2 actually had an entirely different underlying front bumper as the metal bumper sat further away from the tub to accommodate the center radiator plastic chimney, and the GT2's center radiator was a different shape than all the other 996's. If you cut a hole over the factory threaded port (assuming it's there) you'll likely have to fabricate a longer custom tow hook to reach it. Not to mention it would be difficult to fabricate any type of plug for it when not in use, I suppose you could find some sort of rubber plug but probably would be tough to fab something from matching urethane that would work. I would contact your track and see if it's required. I think our track's policy says something like "if your car has a port for a tow hook it MUST be installed in order to enter the track". Meaning if it is lacking the port they will waive the requirement...that would make this much easier if your track would allow.

If you need a longer tow hook, get one for a later model BMW X3.
They are the same thread and are much longer than the Porsche(or Rennline) ones.
Here's my tow hook "collection:"
From top to bottom: VW, BMW car, Lexus, Porsche 9x6, BMW X3
