Taco
I'm probably a little biased here but Taco all day. Its big, its curvy it pops when I RARELY see it on another car driving down on woodward etc. I did not like it at first but it grew on me quick and now all the others just don't stand out like the taco does and just looks to .. quiet on a Porsche. The curves on our cars and the GT3 ... to square.
Anything you go with will look great if you like it. Its a Porsche.. you cant make them look bad
Just my 2 cents... not worth 1/2 of 1

996.2 Aerokit II is my favorite, but I think it'd look out of place on a 996.1. I'd stick with period correct options like the factory Aerokit for 996.1 (or a high quality replica like the Getty). The ducktail just doesn't look right to me on anything newer than a mid-70's 911.
Also, don't forget to match front and rear aerodynamic aids. A wing without a front bumper is not recommended by Porsche.

I think you should consider your entire build into the decision.
A car that is not lowered at all, the Taco might look too tall, the GT3 pulls it off, because it is lowered.
What other items, ie side skirts.
Bringing the wheels out a little will also impact the overall appearance.
I am biased, I have the Carrera Wing. Not too tall, not too aggressive and fits well with the entire silhouette.
Best part it is functional if you get the opportunity to track your car.

Three Wheelin'
I like that Carrera wing, it flows well with the lines of the cars.

I had the GT3 deck lid cause I couldn’t find a taco wing at the time and I liked how it looks with the mk1 car. It since has been removed from the car. And this is a true GT3 deck lid.
