The Ultimate AOS Solution would definitely be a perk to list on the specs if you put your Porsche on Bring A Trailer or one of the other sites.

Despair and yet more engine issues
Hi @Porschetech3 I bought the uaos as well as your improved hose and had it installed by my Indy last summer. In the fall I had problems with rough idle, and power loss. When I woke the car up from winter I thought I had resolved the issue as my dash warning lights cleared after I installed a new OEM MAF sensor. I replaced the MAF based on the engine behavior and dash light illumination, not hard evidence. (I can't get my durametric to connect correctly to the ECU). And page 208 of the Essential Companion book.
Once installed with a new intake filter, the faults cleared and I drove the car about 100 miles or so, assumed the issue was resolved. But yesterday after a 30 min drive I pulled into the grocery and when I returned after a quick shop, the car started rough and I had power loss and the ABS and psm lights come on again. Despair... I Let it cool a bit. and the engine got me home, with just the familiar slight hesitation that I had before the new MAF. It's the ECU juggling the issue I suppose.Monday I will call and make an appointment with a specialist in Halifax, a 2 hour drive. I'm not sure where I'll take it, I think I need a 996 specialist. I'm posting this here because looking under the hood I found two things I want to ask you about. 1) is this connection meant to be loose? See the pic. The part slides loose back and forth in the slot, where I circled it.
Also, why is the membrane carrier 'wet' with what I assume is oil? Do I need a new membrane maybe?
Thanks for your assistance. Sorry the engine bay is dusty, I got on a dirt road the other day while searching for the family graveyard. I found it, but only after 10 min on dirt roads.

@damage98MO If you look at the gray change-over valve it has a retaining clip on the back that should secure it when it is fully seated down in the slot...It should "click" in place and require an effort to release it..
As for the wetness on the flow regulator it doesn't appear to be an active leak or a drip, just a slight weepage and no concern...just periodically wipe off the residue...
