The "Ultimate AOS Solution"
Skip - #2 on this diagram. Is that the gasket that comes with the AOS. I'm pretty sure it is, but wanted to double check? I have never replaced or seen an additional gasket there (other than the one that is already on the AOS).
on the URO one i bought it has #2,10,11 just like the factory but i does look like all the aftermarket ones are not created equal. You should double check and verify before buying.
Thanks, that is what I thought. I have had a series of the Porsche AOSs and that is how it has always come. FCP Euro has got to be tired of me sending AOSs back to them....
BTW your UAOS is on its way !! Shipped out today and expected to arrive Monday 4/20/2020
Since you are having issues on the track, you should check your engine health/ blow-by like described in this thread..https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...w-by-test.html
I‘m in the middle of installing mine now.
I’ve removed the AOS, and tomorrow morning I’m going to start the install.
I‘m glad I won’t have to go through this again.
I feel for those who have had to do this multiple times...unless they’re getting paid.

I know !!! I have heard of many having failed AOS's 2-3 times in an engines life, they are just lucky they didn't get a big gulp of oil all at once like some do ... We have seen that several times here lately on this forum with really bad out comes..

Do you know which post has the wiring instructions?
I think this thread is up to 100 bazillion posts, it’s gonna take me a couple of days to find them.
The simple wiring directions are on the first post of the " UAOS install / tips/ tricks " thread.. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...ps-tricks.html There is not a whole lot of posts in that thread.
Even the most bulletproof of m96 engines can fail from even a brand new Porsche AOS, Jake Raby recently had two engines with bent rods due to failed Brand New Porsche OEM AOS's about 6 months old.
The UAOS stops that kind of non-sense.

yep tested fine,, 4500 miles later boom..
Skip...another order coming at ya. Second AOS apparently failing within 5,000 miles. What crap! Unless there’s some other way the crankcase can be drawing 11” H2O with aircon off and 7” with aircon.
Bring it on !! I just put in another order/batch of the Carbon Fiber Filled Accumulators today. Schmit Proto who is doing my PA-CF Accumulators are kinda overloaded with making masks and shields for medical use for Covid 19 pandemic, promised to push my order through on time.
Only 4 slots left for the April/May UAOS batch orders !!
BTW: The URO regulator is on National Backorder (for 45-60 days) so all orders will be sent with the Vaico regulators installed untill further notice.
I have tested/evaluated the Vaico and it is approved for use with UAOS..

Come on, you know you need one!
Having one means you don't need to buy a manometer to continually check your AOS.
The UAOS monitors that (and other things) for you.
After the UAOS is installed, if the AOS diaphragm fails, it's just a 10 minute DIY job to replace it.

I am wondering how many of the "catastrophic failures" in the past that were so broken that a cause of failure couldn't be determined, or was just so bad the engine wasn't even worth opening up to inspect, just scrapped, could have been all a chain reaction of an simple AOS failure !!!!
