Congrats! Life is short. Drive a car that makes you turn around and look at it every time you walk away. Any 911 is that car.

Passenger window wasn't going all the way down. Suspected it was because someone didn't remove the stop on the regulator for a 911. My assumption was correct. Easy fix. Previous owner must have replaced and not known about it.

life’s too short to drive SUV’s. Unloaded my Macan and bought a X51 C4S street car to join the 01 C4 that’s currently getting the quarter fixed.

I love 996’s if you can’t tell.

I replace my front left wheel bearing.
It had started to whine VERY loudly.
The replacement was videoed and will be appearing on a popular YouTube channel soon.

I also got to drive a 996 GT2 spec car today.
It was scary fast.

Installed a new head unit from Crutchfield. Got their easy harness too. Easy install. Now I have BT, Pandora, usb charging, etc. Color match is just ok, but adjustable.

Had an alignment done, brake fluid flush and steering tie rods replaced all for a whooping $1042 out the door. Didn't think that was all too bad to be honest. Also had a detailed inspection done and even at 112k they said the car was in really nice shape......still need the RMS replaced ($2300) but other than that it's passed with flying colors!

Finally fixed my license plate illumination lights which haven’t worked in 12 years. Had to take the rear bumper off, which was ridiculously simple. Had to tap in to the tail light for power supply to the license plate lights.

I found the deck engine deck manual release cable buried inside my tail light recess. I thought the previous owner hid it there, but no..that’s a weird Porsche placement from the factory.

I spent more time trying to figure out a new route for that cable than in re-wiring my electrical gremlin.

Finished the GT3 Coilover install last night after waiting for my special order $30+ dollar top nuts to arrive

Cant wait to drive this thing again, but I will likely need to get another alignment done after changing the coilovers... will add a corner balance to the task list to see what the corner weights (and overall weight) looks like.
