Replaced my headlight bulbs with led ones, (Autofather off eBay) like the white light compared to the yellow, I think the yellow dates the car, quite easy to do apart from getting the headlamp clips around the bigger bulb unit! The one on the left is new right is the old one!

noz1974, they look great. Do they help much with additional usable lighting? Some people claim that LEDs in halogen reflectors create too much scatter. I’d like to get more usable light out of my (base halogen) setup without investing in litronics, so am eager to hear. Thanks!
I don't know how the color compares with the LED, but I put in Sylvania Silver Star Halogen bulbs a few years ago and the brightness and visibility improvement was dramatic over regular halogens.
Since I haven't fixed my wrist pin tool using Jake's method(plan to do that this weekend) I decided I'd play with my camshaft timing tools.
Here's my engine after I got done playing:
Still looking for an old crankshaft and IMS (plus the bearing) if anyone has one they want to get rid of.
They can be shot, they just need to turn so I can edumacate myself.

I really envy your determination and educational fortitude, thanks for sharing. I have the replacement IMS bearing out of my car after the IMSS was installed. The mechanic said it needed to be replaced (grinding a little), but Charles said that was impossible to know when it was in the car. I can take pictures to make sure it will help you...
Repaired my driver's side tilt latch. Spent about two hours trying to repair the cable from the bottom before taking the leather cover and padding off. Super simple to repair after that and fairly quick reassembly. Improved the cable stop at the top and now works better than when I bought it and feels like new!

Today I was off work, so I took my 996 for a drive.
I drove it hard!
I accidentally drove past a local unmarked police car going faster than I should have on a twisty road.
He pulled up next to me and gave me a thumbs up.

I use these in my truck. Nice visibility for sure, but I've been using them for 4-5 years and never had one last more than 12 month. Keep a couple of spares in your toolbox.
