What did you do to your 996 today?

Accelerated a little too much after going thru an intersection while shifting and getting around a slow moving vehicle. Unfortunately the local deputy happened to be coming the other way and turned his lights on immediately and pulled me over. I was polite and he knocked it down so it’s just a small fine with no points, etc...
As I was sitting there with my engine off I was worried about whether or not he would notice when I started the car up again with my recent muffler delete, but the good news he didn’t even look up.

Drove my c4s in a fierce thunderstorm at night. Handled like a champ! Can’t wait til winter experiences.

Since we're talking detailing on this page, I finally finished round 1 of the paint correction on my car.
Before/After
Weapons of choice:
Turned out pretty good if I say so myself.
The Meguiar's 205 wasn't quite aggressive enough of a cut for the blemishes in the paint, but it's "good enough" for now and not embarrassing to drive in the sun (honestly, anyone who isn't a detailing nerd would probably never notice the stuff that's bothering me). This winter I'll go a little deeper and probably do a little wet sanding in some places to hopefully get the paint really dialed in.

Washed it after two days of getting rained on...I'd love to do a paint correction but, I have a cat that likes to walk/sleep on my car when I'm not looking.

Last night, I used Meguiars spray-on "ceramic" wax. If you try this on a black car, make sure you read up on the stuff first. Otherwise, you will NOT be pleased with the result.
After reading the instructions and applying two coats, here's what it looked like last night. I haven't seen it in the sun yet.

Just bought my 996. Flew to Cincinnati and drove 5 hours back. Needs a good detail inside and out but overall a great car
Installed the function first shift ****. What a difference.
I had a 986 for a bit years ago and always hated the shifter and vowed to immediately fix that. Once I put the deposit down on the car I ordered a new ****.

Drove up to a cars and coffee this morning to Malvern, PA with my buddy and his calloway zo6. The 996 still can go faster threw the on ramps but that thing caught me fast once we got out of the turn. A couple of "fried egg" era boxters another mk1 areo 996 and some newer stuff to look at. There was a ton more cars out last week, it was already 92* by 9am so i think most stayed home
