I think supercharging these glass motors is a recipe for KABOOM

Do it and report back please. Looks promising and I could use more power.

Raptor does a lot of Subaru modding.

Are they glass, or does the platform just let you run them to the death? The biggest factor I see in blown motors is owners trying to make them something they're not (ex. relying on OEM IMSb, tracking all day & running them too hot for too long, etc.). The stories of regular use-inspired issues like Cuda's motor seem relatively rare.

I think the centrifugal superchargers are awesome, for the right motor. Just not this one...

Supercharging small-block chebbies and other huge-displacement, low-power, cheaper-n-dirt engines makes more sense than supercharging costlier-than-dirt small-displacement motors with questionable tolerance for more HP/L/compression using factory internals.

I can slap a supercharger on my Corvette, screw up the fueling upgrades, and lean it out under boost with catastrophic results...let's see, carry the one, add the 7...about 9 times for what it would cost to blow and pop the 996 once.

If I didn't have a highly-sought-after, collectible '99, I'd think about this.

Before I got my 996 I remember seeing a car locally that had one that was for sale....I have to say it looks like a pretty well done kit. I don't think it's going to cause the IMS bearing to carry any extra load, I don't see how it could really add to the normal modes of failure, heck, you would just get through the corners at tracks faster with less oil starvation!!!

Ditto. In a few years or so I'll cash out after all of this investing.
