Default 500hp+

The car has stainless cat back fabspeed exhaust as the owner didn't like the ruf system-bypass? He believes the exhaust added some hp and sounds so much better..... Car has pss9 and sport seats with painted seat back oem factory. Also had the belts done with I believe the wider set up? Serpentine? Short shift kit and lots of carbon fiber inside. Navy blue interior does make me nervous...anyone seen navy and thoughts? Or pics of navy?

BTW, it is not unusual for the RUF conversion to dyno at > 490 hp. My dyno sheet after conversion shows over 500 hp.

I'm glad that the car is passing the hurdles. Keep doing the homework!

It is funny you started this thread dieing for a white Ruf in the picture and now are considering a white Ruf in Fla. If it is a Ruf I bet a navy blue interior is not a deal breaker. It actually may look great with painted seats. A test drive with mine I bet would convince you.... bob

Navy blue interior is fine, I've seen them on a few blue local 993s.

Some have a black dash, steering wheel etc so adds some contrast. If not the case, as long as it still has a matte natural finish and it's not coated with anything like shiny armor all. I think the original video posted had a blue interior too, so def not a deal breaker.

Mickfluff,

Those black wheels would look perfect on the white Turbo R ;-)

These wheels are direct fit from Rennworx, forged & light, no spacers, they'd look good on any 993, have a no lip version almost identical to RUF.

Default Wheels

Are we talking about my RUF wheels? They are genuine 19 RUF wheels and I run small spacers on my narrow body 997... so they would fit the 993TT? Thats my plan..... not sure they are light weight thats for sure,

When u get it and definitely think you should, these cars are so rare. The owner seems very straight forward and is fiends with the group in PR who keep their cars at Ruf in Germany. I would ask about any problems passing emissions these conversions have some unique wiring and at times the cel can be a problem. When u get it to RI contact Pat Duggan he has great experience with air cooled and now with Ruf turboR. Bob

Glad to help anytime Pat Duggin is the head mechanic at inskip. He is the air-cooled man. He worked out cel problems on my car and has been in contact with Ruf in Germany numerous occasions. He has helped a few rufalolics here too
