3.8L Mahle P/C, twin plug ignition, GT2EVO cams, Pauter rods, MAF sensing on re-programmed 993TT OEM ECU, low and high boost settings for 93 (1.3 bar) and 100+ (1.45 bar) octane with Greddy Profec boost controller, Protomotive plumbing, including IC, Garrett GT3076R turbo's, 996GT2 clutch/Sachs PP/993RSR LWFW, BoschRSR dual fuel pumps, Brembo slotted front-993TT Big Red rear rotors/Pagid RS14 pads front and rear with 993RSR rear calipers, 996TT rims, H&R Clubsport suspension, engine dyno and road-tuned by John Gulino and Todd Knighton. I don't have dyno sheets, but power likely around 675HP on pump, 700+ on race fuel.
Based on some of the other powerful 993s on the forum I am starting to wonder if the European HPs are bigger than our US HPs? Or maybe the US tuners just use more radical parts and tuning methods?
Are your Mahle pistons cast or forged? Are your heads and case O-ringed? I know that you run a lot of boost on 93 octane. Perhaps Todd K doesn't run much ignition advance to help avoid knock?

Thanks Rob. I'll try to get info. on your technical questions re. my motor build. I know the car runs rich, and the only time I thought I could be getting knock on 93 was near the end of a run at Watkins Glen, but the car makes so much noise (a good thing ), it could have been only my ears ringing. All I know is the car is insanely fast.
Can you post the dyno graph of your most recent upgrades. I am thinking the same turbos setup.

I don't have dyno sheets, but as I stated in a previous post, torque peaks around 5,500 and power around 6,500 rpms with both holding right up to the rev limit at 7,250, typical of the 3076R's sweet spot. On track, I simply keep revs above 5,000 rpms, and on the street (it's my summer DD), I can drive it in a civil manner if I want, keeping revs under 5,000.

Your engine specs are very impressive but I thought that clutch was only good for 550HP.
What did it take to mount the 3076R Garretts? They don't bolt straight up do they? Any pics

I had similar thoughts, although I have seen standard 996 GT2 clutchs handle ~650hp. Not sure how much torque (which is what really slips a clutch) those engines made.

Keep in mind, the clutch is modded, it has an upgraded Sachs PP, but I don't know the specs-torque capacity/load. But the clutch doesn't slip at peak boost/torque, and believe me, it makes good torque. Again, the clutch is modded but I don't have details.

If I am reading your old post correctly, the ultimate cost-no-object combo for big power is:
Upgraded PP part number 883082 999764 which would give the following torque clamping = 640 lbs.ft if you are using a modified organic plate (street/track) part number 881864999973 that I mentioned, full face, not puck style plate, and 100% OEM start performance.
The combo that you and TB993tt use is:
b- Using the upgraded PP part number 88 3082 999 752 = 580 lbs.ft if you are using a modified organic plate (street/track)# 881864999973
