My UMW 3.8L Twin Plug
One major benefit of Kevin being local, is I got a personal show-and-tell from the master himself regarding my new engine
Kevin dropped off some of my new parts for me to photograph and to explain all the magic bits he's done.
To start things off, here are some pics of one of the heads, which have been ported, welded, and upgraded to larger valves and twin plugs. They are now being machined to accept the 3.8L pistons, so that part was not done when I took the pictures. Also, you can see Kevin's ultimate flame-ring!

109 case spigots, shufflepinning the case, boattailing the case webbing, modification for GT3 oil pump, and knowing Kevin, he probably upgraded the piston squirters to 2mm.

Heh, heh, indeed!
PS - I'll be at Thunderhill Sept 26-28 with the Boxster; hope to see you there! I was hoping to bring the Turbo, but there is no way to have the new motor broken in at the local track before then. Will have to wait until Spring...
