Leon,
thanx for sharing.
You give the 993 tt forum new insights and we all can learn from your experience with the "Ueber"- turbo R.
The car is a beast and looks so clean.
One of the coolest turbos ever and the engine keeps what the looks promise.

Ruf quote their numbers to the DIN standard which is 20DegC, so I'm not sure what the 27DegC means - I'm sure the details will reveal all, look forward to seeing them.

you will see that in my current configuration, mainly I think related to the wheel/tyre combo I will hit maximum revs at 189mph which will look pretty stupid when your longer 6th will doubtlessly IMO take you over 200

993RSR and I are still up for a (relatively) closed session at the runway to ascertain acceleration (rather than top speed) up to decent levels, 170/180.
That beast of yours will naturally receive a VIP invite.

Leon
Do you have any run of your car with the AX22? It would be nice to see an overlap of all you guys' cars. I will be soon getting mine ( back order) so I can also contribute.
Cheers,
Jean

heres my weight chart FYI
stummel, dont know
jean, not yet but very soon
toby, im waiting for the vip invite (p.s vmax is all about accelleration as runway is limited, not many 200+ cars hit their top speed)

No need to run up to 200mph to see which car is more powerful. Obviously aerodynamics play a huge role at those speeds.. I am sure the adrenalin rush is fantastic however the objective of finding out which car has more power is not served of course.
In TB's case, his car will suffer from aerodynamic drag because of his flares and SUV ride height
, which are all but air-flow friendly and also increase the width of the car.
In Leon's case, the car seems to have been well prepared for aerodynamics, without the rain gutters, the special wing, mirrors and low height, it will certainly benefit anywhere from 5-10mph at those speeds and how fast they get there.
Reminds me of the gutterless, low windshield 533HP RS Tuning car, look at the performance there
A 20-120-130mph is a much better indicator of real power, provided both cars have same gearing, even with different aerodynamics, the impact will be smaller. So let us see some vids!

I like yours too, but Leons are amazing! Does anyone know who makes them? Again, how much do you think a shop will charge to fill/repaint the holes in the doors.

Adam,
Your question on how much you may be charged will vary from shop to shop. You should ask a body shop that you trust. I don't think its a small deal, however, as I think a shop will need to repaint both doors, and then blend into the fenders. I would hazard a wild *** guess... $500.
