Nice reply Felix. Forgive my rantings!
Oil problem with my car improved ,getting 0.7- 0.8 bar of boost, have covered 200 miles still seems to be a lot of oil blowing around the rear of car and some leakage at intercooler pipe I suppose its residual oil from syphoning problem, not much smoke on startup now even after a hard drive so fingers crossed.
On the performance note I think the 993tt is still today a true supercar I dont have many cars keep up with mine!.
Cheers Felix.

IMO, the main reason why the 993TT was single plug was because it served for FIA homologation purposes of the 993GT2 race car for the 1995 season.. Twin-plug was not allowed back then in GTS1 class and Le Mans among other.

450hp * 1,1 = 495hp.
Maybe this is why ruf has chosen 490hp as a baseline?

Three Wheelin'
Good time, Martyn. And no James Bond/Goldfinger experiences this time? And the car sounds absolutely fabulous on one of the PH videos I saw.

Some charts from today 2/2/08. Temp 73F, headwind 10mph. All runs made on the same Driftbox unit
My friend Rob's totally stock Ferrari 430F1. This was in Race mode and check out how quick the shifts are. Despite 2 shifts, the time is good. His car was chirping the 3-4 shift.
TTGasman's 997TT with Tubi exhaust. This was a 3 shift run which I think would be able to cut alot of time off by starting from 3rd and extending the stock redline to allow hitting 130 in 4th. The 4-5 shift added almost 1.5 seconds to the time. The Tubi sounded really, really good on his TT!
My Stage II 997TT, on a 93/104 octane 50/50 blend. I had 3 almost identical runs

Great time on your 997 TT! It looks like 60 to 130 in about 7.9 seconds!

I did loads of runs to 300kph at the airstrip - the 60-130 came out around 8s most of the time -being two people, slightly uphill and with a rough surface probably robbed a few tenths. 993RSR posted a 60-130 on this thread somewhere (7.4s from memory but he was one up)
Edit:
Found one I did on this thread, June last year driver only 7.8s -lardy gearchanges and a bit downhill but they all seem to be that way

Thanks for finding that. It seems like you would be in the low 7s with slightly faster shifts. What octane gas were you using? We have 91 (R+M)/2.

The average at Bruntingthorpe (rough surface -bit of TC) with 2 people slightly uphill seemed to be about 8.3s...
The fastest recorded two people in car I have seen is the Sport Auto test which managed 6.4s 100-200kph which is about 7.2s 60-130mph

I thought I would update the thread with my latest run.
This is the first all out run that I do with my stock gearbox, with the sequential gearbox I achieved a 6.6s. last year.. This run is 6.2seconds with one shift.
Temperature 29deg C. (84F) , tires Michelin Racing slicks on 2WD. The 60-130mph was achieved with one shift instead of two shifts as a result of the taller tires. Grip was decent, lateral Gs are still a bit wild, but nothing compared to my previous run of 6.6s on MPSC. Estimated full running weight 1510-1520 KGS (3330 LBS) . The most astonishing part for me is that I ran at less than 1 Bar of boost! The previous run was made at 1.18 bar and was slower
Some performance data to compare with high speeds available:
100-160KPH:2.8s/ Gemballa GTR750: 2.7s./ RUF RT12: 3.3s / Woodster: 3.48s
100-200KPH: 5.3s / Gemballa GTR750:5.3s / RUF RT12: 6.4s/ Woodster : 6.9s
100-220KPH: 7.4s / Gemballa GTR750:6.7s/ RUF RT12: N/A / Woodster: 9.54s
100-240KPH: 9.4s/ Gemballa GTR 750: 8.8s/ RUF RT 12:N/A/ Woodster: 11.54s
100-250kph: 10.6s RUF RT12: 12.0s. Woodster: 13.5s.
So I am about 1.4seconds faster than an RT12 from 100kph all the way up to250kph, that's really surprising despite my really poor aerodynamics!
Gemballa GTR 750: 0-300 KPH : 21.7s. 100-300KPH: 17.6S
RUF RT12: 0-300kph: 24.8s 100-300KPH: 21.4s
Woodster: 0-300kph: 27s. 100-300KPH: 22.2s.
60-130MPH: 6.2s.
60-150mph: 9.8s
60-159mph: 11.5s
