TB, Good to see you can start enjoying your GT2 and congratulations! I think you will love it more day by day. The one P-Car that I truly enjoyed in bone stock form as much as the 993TT.
I clocked somewhere around 8.5s if I recall correctly with two people on board and very hot weather. I have it with Ax22 files and will post it as soon as I have access to it.

It is funny that the car has felt very fast in all situations so far but then doing the 60-130 on my usual test track it suddenly felt slow feeling lacking in torque !
Looking at the magazine tests the 100-200kph comes out around 8s with 2 occupants, mine was 7.95s with just driver (and 2 shifts) so I guess there is more to come although I feel Gene's 8.3s 60-130 is exceptionally fast.... I will do an "initial impression" report shortly

I've yet to run the 60-130 with or without a data logger to see what the numbers are on the GT2. That said I feel the performance is inconsistent. If you've had the opportunity to nail it for a bit it wakes up and goes very well, other times it feels half asleep. Perhaps a slight exageration but there is a difference. If anyone could shed some light on this I would very much appreciate it. Perhaps because the boost is mechanically controlled and she does not get used regularly it takes a little while to get itself sorted out ?.

The car belongs to a friend of mine. His shifting skill is even better and he was able to get 8.2s out of it. I was amazed how good the power was on the stock car - the power really climbs towards redline. On the same day I was hitting 7.0/7.1s on my 997tt (best before was 6.9s) so I think in cooler weather the stock GT2 after break-in should be good for high 7s - really exceptional straight from the factory!

Apologies, the 60-130mph in the 997GT2 with 2 people (~180kgs) on board and temps around 40 deg Celsius was 9.39s.
Here is the graph, with 2 gear changes. Slight uphill.

Interesting results on the 997 GT2. I wonder if there is a power variation due to the computer. Some things that may affect it are gasoline octane (knock sensor), intake air temperature, and engine/oil temperature. These parameters may unexpectedly shorten the overboost time or otherwise decrease the boost pressure. Does the 997 GT2 display the TRUE boost pressure, and could you see that during the 60-130 run?
Even a very short detonation detection may cause the timing to retard or boost to decrease for several seconds while the computer gradually restores the normal timing and boost to prevent additional detonation.
The car may also optimize fuel efficiency during cruising and other non-acceleration events. Then, when you need to accelerate, it must re-adjust for performance, which could take a second or two.

It is nice and cold here at 0degC, with 1510kg running weight just did a 1 shift 8.3s 60-130....
It is quite hard to get the best out of this car since with the expansion intake manifold the last ~900rpm go by very quickly (not linear) and the rev limiter set at 6750rpm seems too low so there is a nice chunk of horsepower from 5750rpm to 6750rpm and harnessing that accurately would give the best possible acceleration but it is hard to get the change just right and the shift light doesn't really help matters as it seems to blink at about 6200rpm which is a bit early....
Bill, I couldn't watch the boost during the run - too much going on for now![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

This improvement is mostly from quicker gear change as what I can see from pictures..
first test/pic shows a gear change 0.8 sec and that makes 8.7 sec time..
second test 0.4 sec -> 8.3 sec.
I looked my old AX runs and noticed that I have had about 0.25 sec changes.
So when you get used to it, you'll improve these times more

Hi, I did finally some airport tests. Temperature was -5 celcius. No good grip for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears but from that on.. ![burnout](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/burnout.gif)
60-130 time was 6.24 with 2 gear changes which weren't optimal: 0.3 and 0.4 secs, they could have been 0.25 and 0.25..![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
But that 100-150 mph with 5.72 is very good time for 993TT, also Jean knows that![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I also did some videos and funny things happened.. you will see after I figure out how I'll get them to youtube..
