The K16s are the better turbine to use for this application, but will need to be fitted with a better compressor wheel than the K16...ZC or not.

I have said this before Scott, hybrid K16 will out perform the K24 platform... However, this rule changes IF you increase your displacement of your engine... K24 or K26 do not produce the early RPM torque that I can build into the K16 hybrids... Sharksters car, and Chris' car are based on K16's, now that is where it ends. Basically if you look at the K16 and K24 they share all the same components, except the turbine wheel and turbine housing.. The GT1's will use the K24 compressor wheel. The benifit is that the rotating assy spins up far quicker than the K24's.. You can and will get wheel spin.. As far as the Zero Clearance is concerned, it is not needed until you guy want to start seeing some crazy HP..

Kevin,

Sorry to have asked a question you had already answered, I'm wading through a lot of posts on the topic.
If I were to get a set of K16s hybridded from you, would it work properly with my existing FVD ecu or would I need to get a different ecu?
What is the cost for hybridding and ZCing.
PM me perhaps?

Ok I am ready to do this but I have one problem. I don't have the tools nor knowledge to remove my turbo's. I want to send mine up to Kevin because they are almost brand new. Any suggestions?

(who wants to come over and take off and install the new ones?? lol )

Or what shop could I take my car to that it could stay out harms way while it is down.

Well, it's official. My K-16's are in a FEDEX package on their way to Kevin. I'll be sure to post the results.

Is anyone interested in my brand new K-24's bought from Porsche???

Norcal guys.. if any of you want to take a test drive feel free. I'm usually around etc... but you'll see what I mean by the loss in lag with the ZC.

Keith;

I'm doing the Stage 2 for Adegraeve. Again thanks for the cores and heat exchangers!
