Since BAT appears to be the measuring source let's watch how this one does: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...rera-s-3-6-14/
Red is not a preferred color but low mileage may offset that. Shifter has to go. IMHO. To seller: GLWA

This is an interesting sample. Low mileage, color is mainstream (other than silver, my next choice is GR (like it alot)), and those hardbacks!! But then, the branded title...
If not for that last fact, this is a mid-to-high $80k car (before 5% fee) all day long.
Anymore want a 'pool' on where this will be sold for?
I'd venture to say $72k before auction site commission. But, more likely the reserve is higher than that; so RNM is a distinct possibility.

What people will pay to get their hands on a 993...; and one can only guess where things would go if the title were clean.

If Title was for mismatch on odometer and it was verifiable, it was a good buy. Never been crazy about red but sport seats and other options plus low mileage are winners. Guess I lost my bet.

But that car would have been an easy $90k if it didn't have a branded title.

Pretty much impossible now to verify the mileage once it's been logged as inaccurate in the records, especially so early on (2002 according to the CarFax). Funny thing is, if the inconsistency happened more recently, it most likely wouldn't have been branded since most states stop accounting for miles on cars after a certain age.

This car has been for sale for years. It regularly appeared at the top of the price list for 993s on Cars.com, among other places. They were asking over $700k, which is probably why it's still for sale. It's an interesting car....but $700k?

Pretty car but what were they thinking with the yellow bits? Low miles rare example but $700k?

It was recently on ebay for $485K Let's see if it sells on Pcar. Definitely a piece of history although that extra blue is a bit loud to my liking, but nothing a good wrap job won't fix. I'm retired from car buying for now so let's see.

It's the guy who owns Park Place in Bellevue- a specialty car dealership. It's been sitting in his showroom since he bought it- at least that's what I was told. I think he's just an opportunist and if it sells to some crazy person, awesome.

I am pretty sure he got banned from the air cooled FB groups for posting his FS ad over and over again. It has been “for sale” for many years for $795k then recently lowered to $495k.
Huge WTF were they thinking with those yellow seat backs..

'Park Place' is very succinctly named -- a consignment ship; meaning there is no capital charge to the 'dealership'. So it's either the owner's car or someone affluent east of Lake Washington putting the car up and see if he gets lucky.
